Participatory Project

The project 'I am here' is based on research about referendums, including the most recent one in the UK (2016), commonly known as the EU Referendum or the Brexit Referendum. A text made up of extracts collected from newspaper articles and internet sources was used to create a ring-shaped drawing.

During the exhibition, next to the ring-shaped drawing, there were white A4 papers available for visitors. They were invited to participate by drawing their hands in a pose that best represented their sense of being present. In the end, the visitors placed their drawings on the wall.
